Vote Counting Preparations Begin

Preparations for Vote counting in Gopalganj

As the final phases of the Great battle for Bihar draw to a close, officuals are concentrating on ensuring the smooth vote-enumeration and declaration of results.

Deputy Electoral Officer Naushad Alam has directed that the counting of votes for all six assembly constituencies of the Gopalganj district shall take place from 8 AM on November 24. The psotal votes shall be counted first.

 The district election officer and his team are putting the final touch to the preparations, according to an official release. DEO Naushad Alam has directed that any objections that are raised during the process of counting should be dealt with promptly.

All officials and personnel connected with this exercise are expected to be at their posts by 5:30 am on that day. The allotment of counting officials and observers [who will count the votes from which constituency)]  are to be decided by computer at 5 am on 24 November.  

The counting related documents 17C part 2, 17c part 1, 21 C, 21 E, and form 22 have been prepared.  95 counting officers and 95 assistants are to be appointed.
