Riding on Bicycle wave… Riding on Bicycle wave... Apart from the development plank, the other significant factor for the thumping victory of Nitish has been, the women empowerment and bicycle scheme as large number of woman voters voted as segment cutting across all the barriers. They came out of their house and voted for him.  Women this time around have voted in chunk and the reservation for them in Panchayat polls and the bicycle scheme has done wonders. Girls and woman are feeling much secured, now women feel secured and parents also are coming forward and encouraging the girl child....

NDA set for massive win

NDA is all set for a huge win in Bihar assembly elections. According to latest counting reports out of 243 seats NDA i s leading on 174 seats. While RJD-LJP combine is leading on 49, Congress is leading on 5 while others including left are leading on 15 seats.

Ramai Ram to contest, EC puts stopper on funds

Heavily garlanded Ramai Ram and Nitish Kumar, when Ram joined the JDU Patna: Bihar Scheduled Caste Commission Chairman Ramai Ram on Monday resigned and announced that he will contest the elections from Bochaha assembly constituency in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district on a ruling JD-U ticket. Ram submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar this morning. Ram said he would contest the Bochaha assembly seat which he had represented for five times in a row.
