MOU signed for power project in Bhagalpur In a major boost for Bihar power sector, Ganga Power and Natural Resources (GPNR) Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) for setting up a super critical thermal power project (2×660 MW) at Pirpainty in Bhagalpur district. According to MOU, the plant will start generating power from 2014. The MOU was signed by GPNR CMD and director in the presence of BSEB chairman P K Rai.
