It’s the Chhat season, and Bihari’s from all over the world like to come back to their roots to celebrate the festival.
More than 24 special trains have been introduced, and additional coaches added to some 10 regular trains to cope with the rush of passengers headed to Bihar for the Chhath puja. According to Dilip Kumar, the chief public relations officer East Central Railway, more than 24 special trains were running to accommodate Biharis coming home for Chhath.

Dhanbad: An air-conditioned double-decker train will soon start from Dhanbad in Jharkhand to West Bengal capital Kolkata, according to the Railway Ministry.
Public Relations Officer Amrendra Kumar of the Dhanbad Division said the fully air-conditioned double-decker train will start soon from Dhanbad to Kolkata. The coaches of the train have arrived. The dates will be announced soon after a decision on the fare rates will also be taken,’ Kumar said.
The journey would take four hours from Dhanbad to Kolkata.
