CRIME AGAINST WOMEN ON THE RISE Darbhanga: A sudden spurt in crime against women in the Darbhanga district has alarmed the residents, particularly women, of the town, says a media report.   On November 13, Shatrughan Jha, an executive member of Janata Dal (United) was arrested by the police as a suspect in the murder of fifteen yer old Sapna Kumari  who used to work as a maid at Jha’s house.   Earlier, Jha had telephoned the  Bahadurpur police station to report Kumari’s death.
