Scheme launched to save the lives of newly born helping hand to newly born... In a big news to state health sector, the government has taken a decision to cover all the district of the state under Comprehensive Newborn Care Initiative (CNCI). All the 38 districts will be covered under this scheme for a period of three years to reduce infant mortality rate in the state. This initiative will save at least 60000 infants every year, CMCI will provide medical and nursing facilities for newborn in hospitals and also in homes.
