A Central University in Bihar: where, when and what should it be like? by Mohammad Sajjad   For long the political elites as well as the intelligentsia of Bihar remained silent on why did not the state of Bihar get a centrally funded university. A few years back the Union government decided to open at least one Central University in each province. The provincial government of Bihar had to provide land for it, and it offered land at Motihari, East Champaran. This district town borders on Nepal, and is not far away from Gorakhpur (UP).
