Money cant buy you love…but what about Votes ?

Oh man for all those who think Bihar is a poor state here is the shocker, there are 104 multi-millionaires and well 219 criminals are in fray in next two rounds of the polls.
According to the research conducted by, the Association of Democratic Reforms and the National Election Watch 104 candidates in fray for second and third round of elections are multi-millionaires. This report was compiled after analysing 503 affidavits of candidates contesting elections in second and third phases of elections.
Talking about these multi-millionaire candidates, Anjesh Kumar of Association of Democratic reforms says, “this shows the role of increasing Money power in politics.”
Now talking about the other breed, the criminals, there are 219 candidates criminals in fray in next two phase. Out of them, 129 face serious criminal charges like murder and attempt to murder.
Anjesh kumar said, “ all major political parties have given ticket to criminals. Of the 2,032 candidates contesting for the 140 seats in the first three rounds, 72 have proven records of criminal cases, including murder.”
