Election fever in Bihar unabated

In Bihar,election fever in the state is in full swing. The campaigning comes to an end on Sunday. The fifth phase of elections will be held in 35 assembly constituencies on November 9.

Out of 35 of these, 12 constituencies are naxal-infested. Stalwarts of different political parties including Senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Adwani, JD ( U) President Sharad Yadav, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, LJP President Ram Vilash Paswan, State congress chief Mehboob ALI Qaiser and left leaders addressed a series of election meetings in different parts of the constituencies .

According to AIR Patna, ruling NDA and opposition parties are making allegations and counter allegations on each other to woo voters in their side.

Addressing an election meeting at Rajgir, senior BJP leader L K Advani appreciated Nitish kumar’s work in the state and said that he is the best CM Bihar has ever had.

State congress chief Mehboob Ali Quaiser alleged that the NDA government in the state has not utilized the central funds for the development of the state. Qaiser said JD(U) claims to be a secular party but has joined hands with BJP which is opposed to the idea of secularism.

Senior JD(U) leader and Chief Minister Nitish asked the electorates to vote in favour of NDA candidates to speed up development of the state.

RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav claims that Nitish led NDA government in the state will be uprooted after election and he will be the next Chief Minister of the state. LJP president Ram Vilash paswan stressed that there is a wave in favour of RJD- LJP alliance. Left parties are also campaigning in favour of their party candidates.
