Terminally Blind Nuclear Bill

The Nuclear Liability Bill that was passed by the Lok Sabha has no mention of uranium mines or the victims of radiation exposure in uranium mining facility, say members of the Jharkhandi Organisation Against Radiation (JOAR). It appears that the mines and its victims have been deliberately excluded from the Bill by the selective definition of what can be considered a nuclear facility. Even the US has recognized the various kinds of sickness, especially diseases in respiratory and urinary tract, and cancer deaths that can result from exposure to uranium radiation in the mining, milling and transportation...

The Festival was a Sweet Perfume for Theatre Lovers  By Manoj Kumar I attended a four day play festival in Kalidas Rangalay from 18th – 21st August.  The occasion was Nirman Kala Manch had completed 22 years since its establishment in 1988. Macbeth, one of the famous works of William Shakespeare was performed on the first day.
